The internet is not for everyone.

If you have a sense of humor, you can stay. If you take everything as a personal attack, you should probably find a cave or hut or treehouse to hide in for a while.

Yeah, I get upset at the general corruption of society, but the only reason it seems to be everywhere is because of the internet. Our world is more connected via visuals and audio; weirdos, wackadoos, dingbats and sick and twisted humor are everywhere. People become cold and less thoughtful with their words when they are not face to face.

Not only are people more harsh on the internet, but people READ others words how they want to. Sarcasm and cruel intent is added to the most innocent words, if the reader wants it that way.

But ultimately, whether you read a meme or a ridiculous comment or someone likes something that seems totally off the wall. There is most likely a joke behind it. Lighten up or get off the internet, before you make a fool of yourself.

Here is some help on how to take a joke.

I think Facebook needs an internet 101 lesson before you can start posting.

Thanks for listening to my ramblings,

  2. Thanks for letting me camp out in your blog for a little while today. I had a great time and tried to leave my campsite as good as when I arrived. I’ll be back!
